There are three ways to work with me.

You run an established business, and technology has become the part you're quietly carrying. Maybe it's holding you back; maybe it's the thing that could take you further. Either way, you're ready to lead it properly rather than keep hoping it's going okay.

Diagnostic

A scoped, time-limited engagement that ends with a clear answer. A few focused weeks, then a recommendation you can act on, not a document of options. It stands on its own, and it's worth doing even if nothing follows. People come to a diagnostic with a question they need answered before they can move: what to do about systems that have grown into a tangle, or an honest read on whether AI is worth pursuing for their business.

Build

I lead the technical work and see it through to a clean handoff. It's more involved, shaped around what your business actually needs, and often what a diagnostic turns out to point to. It might mean building a new product, rescuing and improving something that already exists, or leading a team through a significant technical change. You stay close to the decisions; I lead the execution.

Support

An ongoing relationship where I work alongside someone who's leading the technical side themselves, usually a business owner who wants to lead their technology with more confidence, or a recently promoted technical person who needs a senior peer. I'm not doing the work for them, I'm helping them do it better. Usually a day or two a month over a longer period.

Who this is for

This is for you if your business is established. You have customers, you know your market, and technology is either the thing holding you back or the thing that could take you further. It works best when you're ready to act, not just gather opinions.

Who this is not for

It's probably not the right fit if your business is pre-revenue or still finding its market.

It's not for you if you want to hand the whole thing over and step back. I lead the technical work, but the person running the business stays in charge of it.

And I don't work for equity or deferred fees. This is paid professional work, not a co-founder arrangement.

Investment

Builds are shaped by the project; most fall between £15k and £45k. Diagnostics are smaller, scoped and priced before we start. Support is the lightest commitment of the three, priced by the day. Where the work is open-ended, I bill for the time it takes rather than guess at a fixed price. I keep you close to the spend as we go, so there are no surprise invoices.

Not sure whether this is right for you? Get in touch anyway. I'll tell you honestly, and there's no pitch either way.
